Of plate edges, e-bikes and red carpets

Our colleague Andreas Möcking actually just wanted to experience some interesting tours on his e-bike. In the end, they brought him to the red carpets of the iF DESIGN Award and Red Dot Design Award.

Because current solutions for travelling longer distances on an e-bike are anything but perfect: either there is no charging infrastructure at all or you have to ‘lug around’ your own heavy charger to charge it.

As we at Jordan like to think outside the box and implement future-oriented ideas in the company even if they don’t fit into our core business and product portfolio, he was able to realise his idea with the help of our partners FRIWO and Design3 GmbH.

The result was an e-bike charging station with the working title e-load. It has since become an award-winning product with the beautiful name loyoubi. We are not the only ones who think that this is an innovative and visually appealing solution, because …
